Client Activities

Columbus Historical Society Honors City’s Birthday

Columbus Historical Society LogoIn recognition of Columbus’ 200th birthday, the Columbus Historical Society (CHS) is offering Bicentennial City Tours highlighting the historical happenings, fascinating facts and captivating characters that have made the Capital City what it is today. We helped CHS publicize its unique offering using traditional and social media, which resulted with a sold-out tour and additional tour dates added. Visit www.columbushistory.org to learn more.

New Client, New Opportunities

Rich in heritage, diversity and boasting a friendly environment, Hilliard, Ohio, is supported by a strong economy, an exceptional quality of life, affordable housing and one of the best school districts in central Ohio. We’ll capitalize on its strengths to deliver a branding campaign that meets a defined vision and goals for making Hilliard an even more distinct, prosperous and desirable community in which to live and do business. Visit hilliardohio.gov to learn more about the city.

Active Media Engagement

On behalf of the Ohio Oil and Gas Association, we’re working with statewide media outlets to inform multiple audiences, particularly voters, of the Kasich administration’s proposed tax-increase legislation on Ohio’s crude oil and natural gas industry. The blossoming industry generates a significant and rapidly increasing amount of tax revenue and jobs for the state and its potential is being threatened. Learn more about our efforts.

We’re also relaying news about drought conditions to consumers from a corn-crop perspective, as it highlights the importance of achieving a 2012 Farm Bill with strong crop-insurance protections for Ohio’s nearly 30,000 grain farmers. Several Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association representatives have talked with news outlets throughout the state, as well as with trade publications. Learn more.

The effects of the recent derecho were substantial throughout Ohio. AEP Ohio relied on our assistance with messaging and providing communications including radio spots that broadcast statewide throughout the AEP Ohio service territory. Learn more by visiting AEP Ohio.

Fun with FH

Staff Question: If you could magically learn to do one thing today, what would it be?

Tom Heiby, CEO: The psyche and motivation of today's 20-somethings as they are the leaders and potential buying power of tomorrow.

Doug Frazier, CCO: I would learn to play the guitar. Music is an important part of my life, but I have limited skill with musical instruments. The guitar is versatile, can fit anyone's taste and is totally portable.

Denise Clark, director of client services: I would like to learn to cook. I'd love to be able to make quick, easy and healthy meals instead of falling back on my usual (and boring) cooking habits.

Kathleen Anthony, account supervisor: I have two — play the piano and fix my car.

Andrea Bils, account executive: I’d love to be fluent in Spanish.

Michelle Leitzy, account executive: To be more artistic — either draw, paint or take great photos.

Wesleigh Mowry, graphic designer: Drive stick-shift — my parents tried to teach me when I first learned to drive but eventually gave up and bought me an automatic instead. I am not at all mechanically inclined!

Brenda Smith, accounts administrator: Live on only social security!
